Quick Life Update
This month has been, and will continue to be, quick. February is the shortest month, and I have no doubts it will fly by. A major goal of mine this month is to get my son to start walking and to get through my end-of-month travel with him in one piece and with minimal sickness.
Valentine's Day, doctor’s appointments, work travel, child care coordination, mood management, expense reports, concerts, dog walks, bathing, health, and exercise. GOOD GRIEF! Put your hand up if you’re ready to lie on a beach for 3 days, preferably solo, with 4 books to read? I’ll keep dreaming of that, and maybe I can make it a reality for next winter.
Writing
I plan to start writing my book this month. Saying it out loud means I need to begin! I also want to try writing some short stories. Maybe essays, too, although I believe the “Takes” section of my newsletter may have that covered.
I don’t know how to start writing a novel, but I have some index cards that I think will help me develop my story framework. Additionally, I know what I am capable of, so this works in my favor.

This month I have already done one overnight work trip, and I have another towards the end of the month. Quite frankly, I need to do more; my customers are asking for it, but I also need to give my family my attention.
